This is me. My thoughts about music, the music industry, various music projects I’m involved with, recording/engineering/production work I’m working on and maybe occasional observations on other items of interest to me.
A little about me. Music is in my blood, literally, well at least if you believe in evolution and genes being passed from generation to generation. My great-grandfather Harry Amsterdam and great-uncle Max Amsterdam were musicians who emigrated to the United States in the late 1800’s (to be continued).
About the header up there… the two black and white photos are the aforementioned Harry and Max Amsterdam. The shots of me are “action” shots from various gigs. On the far right is, at one time, my office companion, Stoney Mahoney the three legged wonder cat. He was my best friend for close to 19 years. He passed in March 2013 and is sorely missed (and I think about him every day).
